Practicalities
Session Structure: Psychotherapy sessions are approximately 50 minutes in duration and are generally held at a consistent time each week. This regularity is a fundamental part of the work, providing the stability and continuity necessary for depth psychological exploration.
Fees: The standard fee is £95 per session, applicable to the initial consultation and all subsequent sessions. To ensure this work remains accessible to those with a genuine readiness for depth psychotherapy, I reserve a limited number of places as a pastoral provision. These are offered on a sliding scale for individuals whose vocation or current circumstances place them in financial restriction. Please enquire during your initial contact if and why this applies to you.
Cancellations: The pre-arranged therapeutic hour is reserved specifically for the client. I require a minimum of one week’s notice for any cancellations. Every effort will be made to offer an alternative time within the same week where possible; however, if a session cannot be rescheduled, the full fee remains applicable.
Emergency Support: While my practice regularly engages individuals navigating periods of complex psychological crisis, it is not designed to provide immediate acute-risk or emergency intervention. I am unable to provide support outside of scheduled sessions. For those in a state of immediate clinical risk or physical harm, please contact your GP, call NHS 111, or contact emergency services (999).
Location: In-person sessions take place at Skovva, a private stone cabin set within a tranquil rural setting in southwest Cornwall. This space is designed to provide a contained and peaceful environment for depth psychological work. I also work with people seeking this particular psychotherapeutic orientation from across the whole of the UK.
Initial Consultation: To enquire about beginning therapy, I can be contacted at yowanntresiddertonkin@gmail.com, outlining the reasons for seeking psychotherapy. If appropriate, an initial online consultation will be arranged—a sober opportunity to explore needs and decide, without obligation, whether ongoing work together is the appropriate path.
